Welcome. This is a site of pictures from our New Zealand wedding party. Maj Britt Due Schmidt and Duncan Lithgow were married at the Århus Town Hall on the 7th of June 2003 in Denmark. You're welcome to look through some pictures online from our Danish council wedding.
Pacific colours and themes were all through our NZ party. Maj Britt's family made an early start on preparations weaving lots of flax flowers, including corsages. The tables were covered with pacific print fabric and decorated with glass pebbles and paua shells.
The family house we call 'Manui' is in Waitakere and has a lovely garden. We had two tents in the garden for the party, built a bridge over the pool for the ceremony and converted the brick BBQ area into a bar.

Velkommen tilhjemmesiden med billeder fra vores bryllups fest i New Zealand. Maj Britt Due Schmidt og Duncan Lithgow blev gift på Århus Rådhus den 7. Juni 2003 i Danmark. Du må gerne kigge på nogle billeder online af vores danske bryllup.
Temaet i vores NZ fest var polynesiske farver og materialer. Maj Britt's familie begyndte tidligt at forberede mange blomster flettet i liljeblade, der skule dekorere pavillonerne og bruges til brystbuketter. Bordene var dækket med polynesisk stof og pyntet med glaskugler og pauaskaller (abeloneskaller).
Festen blev holdt i huset 'Manui', hvor Duncan er vokset op. Det ligger i Waitakere og har en fin stor have. Vi slog to telte op i haven og lavede grillområdet om til en bar. Duncan byggede en flot bro over pølen til ceremonien.
